Permohonan CFS/MC/EC dengan MDA adalah tidak wajib. Walau bagaimanapun, ia tertakluk kepada keperluan negara pengimport yang memerlukan CFS/ MC/ EC bagi mengimport peranti perubatan ke negara tersebut.

Certificate of Free Sale/ Manufacturing Certificate/ Export Certificate (CFS/ MC/ EC) application with MDA is not mandatory. However, it is subject to the requirements of the importing country which requires a CFS/MC/EC to import medical devices into that country.
